Responsible for maintaining the locker room and deck areas during the daily hours of pool operations. This includes sweeping, mopping and general cleaning of bathrooms.

Responsibilities:

Complies with regulations as required by local health code.

Maintains accurate daily pool records as well as sustain sanitary conditions in and around the pool, locker rooms, shower and toilet areas.

Performs related work as required.

Minimum Entrance Qualifications:

Knowledge of pool health and safety standards preferred.

Ability to work flexible hours.

Applicants must be at least 14 years of age.

Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the position.

Providence residency is required.

Seasonal Position - BCI check required for 18+ applicants

Start: early July 2025

End: end of August 2025

Providence Department of Parks and Recreation will hire Providence youth this summer to operate lunch program sites, camps, pools and water parks across the city, subject to change due to COVID-19.
